Monsters Everywhere

Today is the 3rd time I have been in my classroom this summer. Each time I have only spent about 2-3 hours there, but that is more than enough for me until I actually have to start back on Monday.

Anyway! I have never had a classroom theme before and this year I thought it would be fun to go with monsters.

Here is what I have so far.

Pioneer PRIDE bulletin board with green polka dot fabric and monster boarder

Monster boarder and blue polka dot fabric.

Monster fabric I found! So lucky!

Then...on Pinterest, I have been seeing a lot of classroom decorating being done with wrapping paper or duct tape, so I decided to give it a go.
Duct Tape I found a Target. I can't believe how lucky I am that I found monsters!
I used the blue polka dots for these drawers.

Then I combined the ideas of Duct Tape and wrapping paper to cover 2 chalkboards.

How cool is that!
Up close. Yep! That monster boarder is Duct Tape!!!

Random Classroomness...

President's Day
The kiddos and I read about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. We then charted the facts we learned, and the littles then made a little craftivity to go with both.

Place Value
In math we have been studying Place Value and Number Forms. Here are a couple of the craftivities we have done...

Leap Day Fun

Origami Frogs!
My kiddos and I watched a video on how to make an origami frog for Leap Day. Here is the link Easy Origami Jumping Frog. The 3 and a half minute video turned into 30 minutes, but it was well worth it! Look how CUTE they turned out!!

We also completed our Leap Day Making Words and ABC Order Activities. Sorry the images are so funky.

You can find them for FREE at my TPT Store.

The kiddos and I also had fun putting 29 band aids on the cutest little mouse and creating Mad Libs!!
